Terms of Sale
Version 1.1 · Effective 13 September 2026 · Last updated 13 September 2026
These Terms of Sale govern paid subscriptions and credit packs purchased on VIOM. They complement the Terms of Use.
These documents are written in English for VIOM's current international interface. An authoritative French version will be published before commercial launch in France; where French mandatory consumer law applies, it prevails over any wording below.
1. Who these terms apply to
They apply to consumers (a natural person acting outside their commercial, industrial, craft, liberal or agricultural activity) and to professional users. Where a clause applies to only one category, this is stated explicitly. Consumers always keep the benefit of mandatory consumer law.
2. Service supplied
VIOM supplies a digital service: AI-assisted processing of media files you upload (transcription, analysis, viral-moment detection, informational Viral Score, clip extraction, vertical reframing, captions, editing and publishing metadata). VIOM does not publish to social platforms and guarantees no result, audience, revenue or monetisation.
3. Prices

Seller: RED BLOC, entrepreneur individuel, SIREN 751 518 143, SIRET 751 518 143 00027, intra-community VAT number FR28751518143, 86 rue aux Arènes, 57000 Metz, France. Prices shown to consumers are inclusive of any VAT applicable to them; for professional customers liable for VAT in another EU Member State the reverse-charge mechanism may apply. The final amount and its tax treatment depend on your location and on the tax status you declare at checkout; both are shown before payment and on the Stripe invoice. Prices may change for the future; a price change never applies to a period already paid, and consumers are notified before a change takes effect on renewal.
4. VIOM Credits
Credits are internal units giving access to VIOM processing capacity. They are not money, not electronic money, not a payment instrument and not cryptocurrency. They have no cash value, cannot normally be transferred between accounts or resold, and cannot be withdrawn for cash. This does not affect your statutory rights to a refund of a sum paid.
Current consumption
- 4 credits per source minute — video processing and transcription
- 5 credits per source minute — viral analysis
- 8 credits — final clip render (captions included)
- 2 credits — one set of publishing metadata
- Duration is rounded up to the next whole minute, with a minimum of one minute
Reserve, commit, release
Before an operation starts, the corresponding credits are reserved on your balance so the amount is guaranteed. When the operation is delivered, the reservation is committed and the credits are debited. If the operation genuinely fails before the service is delivered, the reservation is released and the credits return to your balance. The authoritative debit is the transaction recorded by the system, not the estimate displayed beforehand; every transaction is visible in your account.
Validity
These periods are the ones actually applied by the system. Trial credits are valid 30 days from the grant. Credits bought in a credit pack are valid 365 days from the purchase. Credits included in a subscription are allocated for the current billing period and remain usable until the end of the following billing period, which gives roughly one month of rollover. The exact expiry date of each batch is shown in your credit history. Credits are consumed oldest-expiry-first. VIOM does not confiscate paid credits outside these published rules and outside what mandatory law permits.
5. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe
- They renew automatically each month on the anniversary of the subscription date until cancelled
- The monthly credits are allocated for the corresponding period
- You can cancel at any time from your account (Usage and billing) or through the Stripe billing portal
- Cancellation stops future renewals; the plan remains active until the end of the period already paid
- Cancelling does not retroactively refund processing already delivered
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries; access to paid features may be suspended until payment succeeds
- Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated by Stripe; downgrades take effect at the next renewal
Online cancellation is available inside your account in the same number of clicks as the subscription, as required by French law.
6. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). Because a paid digital service can be supplied immediately, at checkout you are asked separately — with no pre-ticked box — whether you expressly request immediate performance during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, under Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code. Your choice and its date are recorded and confirmed to you.
Where the service has not been fully performed, you may still withdraw; an amount proportionate to what has already been supplied may be retained where the law allows it.
You can exercise the right of withdrawal directly online through the withdrawal function on the withdrawal page, which also contains the model withdrawal form. We acknowledge every withdrawal request on a durable medium.
7. Refunds
- Statutory rights: refunds due under the right of withdrawal or the legal guarantee of conformity are made without undue delay, using the original payment method
- Service failure: if a chargeable operation fails, the reserved credits are released automatically; if credits were wrongly debited, they are restored
- Duplicate payment: refunded on request
- Unauthorised or fraudulent transaction: report it immediately; it is investigated and refunded where appropriate
- Unused credits from a pack: refundable only where statutory withdrawal or conformity rights apply
- Partially consumed credits: only the unconsumed part can be considered, to avoid double recovery for a service already delivered
- Subscription renewal: a renewal already invoiced is not refunded retroactively where the corresponding period has been made available, subject to statutory rights
- Stripe disputes and chargebacks: handled through Stripe's procedure; abusive chargebacks may lead to suspension
8. Legal guarantees
VIOM owes consumers the legal guarantee of conformity applicable to digital content and digital services under Articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, and is liable for hidden defects under the Civil Code. These guarantees are mandatory, apply independently of any commercial promise and cannot be excluded. Statements in these terms about availability or performance are commercial information and never reduce these statutory guarantees.
9. Order process
Before paying you see the price, the billing frequency, the credits included, the automatic renewal, the essential characteristics of the service, these Terms of Sale and the withdrawal information. Payment is confirmed with an explicit "order with obligation to pay" action. The version of the terms you accept and the date are recorded, and Stripe sends the invoice by email.
10. Mediation and disputes
Complaints: contact@red-bloc.com. If no solution is found, a consumer may use a consumer mediator free of charge.
The mediator is being formally appointed and its name, address and website will be published here before commercial launch to consumers in France. European consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform where available.
Governing law and jurisdiction are set out in the Terms of Use.
