Content policy, copyright and acceptable use
Version 1.1 · Effective 13 September 2026 · Last updated 13 September 2026
VIOM processes media that users upload. This page explains what you may upload, what is prohibited, and how rights holders can report content.
These documents are written in English for VIOM's current international interface. An authoritative French version will be published before commercial launch in France; where French mandatory consumer law applies, it prevails over any wording below.
1. Your rights in what you upload
You declare that, for every file you submit to VIOM, you hold or have obtained the rights, permissions, licences or other lawful basis required to upload it and to have it hosted, transcribed, analysed, transcoded, edited and returned to you as clips and text.
The fact that a video is publicly available on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or any other platform does not mean you are allowed to reuse it. Public availability is not a licence.
This includes third-party elements inside your file: music, archive footage, stock material, interview participants, voices, faces, logos and brands.
2. Prohibited uses
- Copyright or neighbouring-rights infringement and unauthorised reproduction
- Pirated, ripped or otherwise unlawfully obtained material
- Circumventing technological protection measures where that is unlawful
- Content that is illegal under applicable law
- Fraud, scams and unlawful impersonation
- Violations of privacy, image rights or personality rights
- Unlawful processing of other people's personal data
- Non-consensual intimate imagery
- Terrorist content, unlawful hate speech and incitement to violence
- Malicious use of a third party's likeness or voice, including deceptive synthetic media
3. Reporting content (rights holders and third parties)
Send reports to contact@red-bloc.com. To allow us to act quickly, please include:
- The work or right concerned, and evidence of your rights or your authority to act
- Identification of the content concerned (account, project, clip, URL or other precise reference)
- The legal basis of your claim
- Your contact information
- A statement that the report is made in good faith and that the information is accurate
We acknowledge reports and handle them within a reasonable time. Manifestly abusive or bad-faith reports may be rejected.
4. Measures VIOM may take
Where lawful and proportionate, VIOM may:
- Investigate a report and request further information
- Restrict, disable or remove the content concerned
- Suspend the processing in progress
- Suspend or terminate the account concerned
- Preserve evidence required by law or needed to defend a claim
- Respond to requests from competent authorities
Accounts responsible for repeated infringements, or for abuse of the service or of this reporting procedure, may be suspended or terminated. Where required, we inform the account holder of the measure and of the reasons for it, and allow a response.
